09 Nov 09 Re: Chemotherapy (Taxotere) for prostate cancer/bone pain
This is to both Fcolinfuller and FrankK.
I am also interested in chemo because my father also has terminal P cancer. He was told last week that the will probs have chemo in the near future (his next appot is in about 3 weeks all will be decided then - I think). I was also wondering what helped you particularly cope/helped with what you have been though so far. I am finding it difficult to work out what he is feeling + thinking etc as he does not let me in at all on the cancer frunt, which I can understand - I just want to help him as much as I can. If you have any pointers they would be very very welcome.
Best of Luck to you both - I hope the treatment is going well and that there are not to many side-effects.
